No.  Slot-scanning during boot only works with the smartport firmware.
The actual Disk ][ controller firmware doesn't know how to give up.

So you PR#6 to boot a 5.25" disk, or PR#5 to boot a 3.5" disk.  If you
want the computer to prefer one when you reset it, you can set the
preferred boot slot in the same "slots" section of the control panel.
