I've seen place still printing up multi-part forms on dot matrix 
printers.  It's a little handier than printing out multiple pages on a 
laser printer when you also have to write stuff on the paper.  Easier to 
write it once than it is to write it six times.  So dot matrix stuff 
will probably be around for a while yet.
