Last year I was basically on the skids and had to take a part time job
as a high school janitor... over the Xmas break I came across a working
Bell & Howell ][+ with A/V backpack and matching Disk ][ drives in the
back of the drama room. Naturally nobody at the school had any use for
it, so I got to take it home for free... I've since added a DX-1 sampler
card and a 200 watt Traynor bass amp to make it probably the loudest
Apple II going ;-)
Ironically, now that I've managed to land a decent job and can afford a
bit of "fun money" I can't seem to find anything worthwhile :(
