Yes, it is dependant on the version of ProDOS, but,
it will still only map 4 volumes on a drive in slot 5.
The first 2 to slot 5 and 3rd and 4th to slot 2.

I don't think they made a Transwarp until IIe. I'll
keep my eyes open. My SpeedDemon was one of 3 that I've
seen listed on eBay.

: I do but I also have a 2 //c's one of which has a ZipChip
: (different than the one I mentioned earlier). I am hoping
: someone will come up with a networking/mass storage solutions
: for both of them. I direct your attention to the SanDisk 128MB

: Wi-Fi CompactFlash card.

I'm working on a CF controller for the IIc. It will go
inside and attach the same way the Ram card would. I've
got a prototype PCB designed and am waiting for funds from
other sources, hint-hint: ram cards, to come in. :)

: What's the fun in that? It's like locking up vintage a airplane
: and not letting it fly. Many P-51s were modified for air races
: and generally won them all. In fact IIRC Burt Rutan designed a
: "relatively" low cost high speed aircraft in a attempt to save
: the vintage machines.

The IIs will be the next to be worth the bucks.
I'd rather run a good IIe and IIgs and be able
to run a lot of stuff, than mess with the most
vintage of the Apple IIs, and only be able to
run some software. Everything that runs on a II
can run on a IIe, IIc, IIgs, why fight it.

: > I have a IIgs upgrade machine you can buy.
: Not really interested /
: I'm only interested in My Apple][ because it was the
: first computer I ever bought and I would like to take
: it as far as It can go.

If it's got 48K, a language card of some kind, an 80 col
card, and a couple disk drives, then other than hacking
it, you have taken it as far as it can go really. Please
tell me you aren't wearing your baby shoes. LMAO!!!!
Just kidding guy. LOL

: Got $350.00 ?
: Yes I do. I have offered more than $200.00 for a TransWarp
: on eBay more than once. I have never had the opportunity
: to make an offer for a SpeeDemon.

I'll check around and see what I can scrounge up for you.
