Sorry to those I offended. My pet peeves on cba2: yEnc files and rar
files and yEnc encoded rar files exacerbate the irritation. When someone
goes to all the work of scanning the issues, the extra step of making them
accessable to the majority of AppleII users is worth the effort.
If yEnc files and .rar files are acceptable on cba2, then the mp3 guys
from spain may as well have cba2, I will have no use for it and stop
monitoring it for any occasional apple2 post.
And yes, I am being petty because I can not process yEnc posts and rar
files on ground.ecn.uiowa.edu nor any other machine I have with access to
the internet.
Binscii is the standard for cba2, IMHO. When apple2 programs are written
to handle yEnc posts and decompress rar files I will ease up on the
standards.
Good luck!
