Any extra pressure on those sockets could in fact
work loose an already weak solder joint, and possibly
also being so near the shielding, some RF could be
created. Be careful not to have cabling between the
cards on that side so as not to produce more undue
pressure on the ram card. The ram cards with the
zig-zag inline package chips like the RAM-GS and
some others, also tend to lean over towards the
shielding when the cabling gets between. Yes, I
think that could cause some problems in some set
ups.
