As you can see from the "//e" in the above paragraph 
that all is fixed. My newsreader is not as "broken" 
as it was. As many different programs as I have tried, 
I still find OE to be the best for me, even with all 
of it's idiosyncrecies. Hyperlinks work in text only 
mode and that is a plus for me.

The original Apple IIs were ][, and yes, it would be 
difficult to type on a non-modded II+. I have a II+ 
but almost never use it unless I want to test programs 
that I write only for 6502 at 64K ram. Everything else 
goes on a //e or IIgs.
