In 2000 - 2001 I used to boot 25 II GS's into GS/OS 6.0.1 from a Mac
LC475 over an AppleTalk network using Faralon phonenet connectors
plugged into the II GS's modem ports. It took about 1/2 an hour but it
worked. I'm sorry that I can't remember more details about what was
running on the LC475 but it was nothing exotic and the whole network
did not require any extra hardware in the II GS's or the Mac. Standard
Mac AppleTalk network software I think. I wish I could remember more
details for you but what you are trying to do is easily possible.
