  As usual, you make no sense.  The broken wire symptom has nothing to do with
whether or not it works on a //e versus a //c.  There are a couple of different
manufacturers of Apple non-ADB mice.  I have about 80 or so in my warehouse,
and I'll try and find out how many different ones there are.  But I have seen a
few different types of PCB's on the older mice.  I know that Logitech made some
ADB mice, and Apple made them too.
