Apple II Europlus Problem

Hi All,

             Help !!! When I try to boot DOS 3.3 with my Apple II Europlus
the system goes in to system monitor mode. And if I try to boot Pro DOS the
screen comes up with ** Relocation/Configuration Error** by the way the
machine has a Language card fitted and the lead from it goes in to a ROM
socket with the original chip removed. Could this be anything to do with my
problem. If you know what the problem is  can you please contact me at my

The machine works normally when the controller card and drive is removed.
( Apple II Logo and prompt comes up )  I have tried the card and drive on
another Apple II Europlus and all is fine boots in to DOS 3.3 or Pro DOS
normally.
