Yeah, I love Telix.  Back in the BBS days that's all I used.
Still have a copy and was using it when I was testing my Apple //c+
null modem connection (which doesn't seem to work..)

Sending ASCII text directly to the Apple II a'la DOS33.DMP to
bootstrap an OS challenged //e should be done at 300 baud.  From what
I recall reading, the monitor scroll routine disables interrupts and
can cause loss of characters.
