Re: IIe -> mac data transfer

[IIe card]

drat. yeah.. that would require me to find both the card and a mac
capable of using it.

now, this is the area I'm not sure about. when I stick in a disk and
type CATALOG, it lists these as text... but I don't know how to tell
what *type* of text, or what program wrote it. can anyone give me some
pointers here? I dont' even know how to read these files properly... I
dicked around a little and found some text utility on the main system
disks, but it doesnt' seem to want to read the entire contents of some
of the files.

no, I'm really not comfortable doing that... he had journals and other
stuff Idont' think is fair to give out. again, thanks on behalf for the
offer though.

I may still take you up on that sometime...

the thing is, I have plenty of time but I'm a cheapskate when it comes
to stuff like this :) I KNOW he got the files off this thing with
what's in there, so I'm reluctant to spend any money buying parts when
it shoudl be possible to do it for free.

and I appreciate it, believe me :) I'd just rather you sell the card to
someone who really needs it, as opposed to me who'll be using it for
maybe 2 hours.
