Via scripts ? Do not mistake Javascript for the actual HTML. Also don't 
mistake Cascade Style Sheets as HTML. The Media player functionality is 
not strictly a programming language. Also don't mistake PHP for HTML. 
When combined with powerful scripts, you have near programming language 
power. In some circumstances it does interpret down and is potentially as 
powerful as programming. How about this below:

How about hardware interfacing. HTML will not interface with hardware.
