Offend me? You're new around here, huh? ;-)
Looking over the Harmonie description on my own web site, I let out a
"whoops" when I didn't spot a single reference to the important "PCL"
acronym. So, thanks for the heads up.
I made a small change to the wording, and will take a stab at re-writing
my description.
In any case, PCL is a standard that is backwards compatible, so if that
Lexmark Color Laser printer does emulate PCL, you should be able to use
that with Harmonie under GS/OS, with the obvious limitation that any
feature added to PCL after Level 3 will not be supported.
Then again, I have to say...I'm really curious. After all, Harmonie does
support color printing on the PCL-Level 3 DeskJets...and my mind is
wandering...wondering what'd happen if a color DeskJet driver were used
with a color Laser printer.
I don't suppose you'd want to lend me that printer to test it out,
wouldya? ;-)
