True, IDE is not for everyone and we all know some of
us have all slots filled so to add another card and still keep
the SCSI would be ludicrous. I made no attempt to sway
anyone to change, only to offer something to those who
have the option already in their minds, and don't wish to
pay Lenny15's inflated price on the Focus. I'm sure I am
not the only one to see him trying to sell a Focus drive for
near $200.00. Also, I make very little profit from these
things and basically am offering something to Apple II
users to help those who need it. I have SCSI in one IIgs
for now, but will be switching to IDE in the next couple
weeks. RamFast is great, I wish I could have gotten one,
but I just couldn't see paying $150.00 or more to get one.
Anyway, good luck to all who have Apple IIs running,
and many more years to come.
