Sounds to me like you are attempting to send a binay file via the text
file transfer method.  This can't work because the file you are sending
across has not been formatted properly.  The initial transfers done via
the IN#2 command allow the PC to type in the programs and save them on the
Apple.  The files you are trying to transfer have not been prepared in
quite the same way.  Only the DOS33 and ADT have been prpared in this
fashon to make sure you have a good starting point.

After you have ADT, which you have used already, you need to transfer a
disk image of some commmunications software.  I have seen 'modem manager'
recommended here numerous times, so transfer the disk image of that to
your IIgs.  Then boot up 'modem manager' on the IIgs, Hypertermnal on the
PC and transfer the file(s) over.
