Yes, I can understand that. Please allow me to shortly introduce myself. I,
too, have programmed a little AppleIIe emulator (Amiga (Assembler), PC DOS
(Assembler), Winblows 9x (Assembler and Java)), and I'm also quite
enthuiastic about emulators (and the AppleII). Just one thing: Please excuse
my bad English. I'm just a Kraut. Could I ask you, please, which programming
language you are using?

Well, sure, if possible. There are a few people right now besides Oliver
(AppleWin) who also plan to or are already working on an AppleII emulator
for various systems. I understand that you write your emulator for the
Windows platform (? I've just downloaded version 0.51 and haven't had time
yet to look through it.).

May I ask you, please, how do you emulate the LC card? I know from my own
experience that there are many ways how to do it, some are fast but may not
work with all programs (try Dragon Wars or Accolade Comics or Ultima IV),
some are precise (and work with all programs) but slower.

Sorry, that's the one I have no knowledge about (sigh). But there seems to
be help on the way already. (I, too, like to thank for the answer on this
topic as it is also quite helpful for me.)

If you have any question, please write either to this newsgroup (or
comp.emulators.apple2) or just send me a mail (PICKERH@uni-muenster.de).
So far I've found people posting to this newsgroup to be *very* helpful.
I've asked a lot of questions about the AppleII hardware and always received
good answers.
Good luck with your work and let us know about your progress.
