Re: Recognizing DOS 3.3 disks on IIGS.

I just spent all afternoon working with DOS 3.3 disks on my IIGS, so let
me offer a couple of different things to check...

- Do you have the DOS.FST installed? Is it active?
- Do you have your 5.25" driver installed? Is it active?
- Do you have Slot 5 and 6 in the Control Panel set to SmartPort/Disk
  Port?

The only other thing I can really think of is the order of your daisy
chain. You're supposed to connect the 3.5" directly to the Smart Port,
the second 3.5" plugged into the back of the first 3.5", and finally, the
5.25" connects to the back of the second 3.5" drive.

Off hand, I can't think of anything else...except for a hardware problem.

Good luck.
