I also purchased a 3.5" drive recently on eBay (from someone else) and it also had difficulty getting disks inserted due to bad mounting. Perhaps this is a problem with many older drives? I plan on taking the drive apart to fix it when I get a chance... However, it is unfortunate that the listers do not always describe the condition accurately... -Jim
