Your entire post questions the reason for Kfest in many ways and holds it up to be something undesirable; then you dismissively state, "Well I don't begrudge them..." The smug moral superiority is choking.
from displaying my old IIGS as a novelty conversation piece in my home's guest room and occasionally skimming this newsgroup, my A2 life pretty much ended 10 years ago. I do have a registered copy of Bernie, but the early 90s. Like myself, all the A2 developers I worked with have MOVED ON.
You haven't MOVED ON if you post on csa2 to rag on people still holding KFest. Seems to me that you derive your pleasure from taking away others' fun. That's sad.
