I just warn you than removing the protection won't change the
complexity of the task required to add extra levels to the game.

I'm not sure how to express my feeling about that, and I'm not in
ANY way the spokesman of the Apple II community, but I don't like the
way you enter here and ask for everything to be done urgently and
showing your $$$. There is nothing to buy over threre. Only knowledge
to share. You can ask questions and you will receive answers. But as
any new member, the best thing is always to listen first. So try to
find the answers by yourself (there are so many Apple II technical
information available freely everywhere). After make efforts in your
side, people will be happy to help, especielly f they have the feeling
you have searched hard first.
As any vintage computer community, the Apple II world is an old &
venerable group of people doing that for pleasure and most of us don't
care about your $200. If you have $200 to spend, invest in in the
community projects (Apple II history book, Apple II user guide book,
Vince Briel hardware parts, CFFA 3000, ...).
I'll produce a protection-free release of the LemminGS code and
I'll check it can be re-assemble easily. But don't expect anything in
the minute, and please, don't act as someone entering a shop and
expecting a top quality service just because he shows up some green.
