Linux lacks a good Apple // emulator? That's news to me. Try Jace some time.
Sorry !!!I'm sure JACE is a good emulator, but I tried JACE on my Mac without success (won't load at all). I tried JACE on Linux under VMWARE Fusion with OpenJDK, launch but do not work (screen with garbage, CPU 100% and nothing else).
Question Mark was there to open the debate. IE, to my mind, there is nothing like Virtual][ or AppleWin on Linux (not for the emulation accuracy, for the ease of use).
IMHO, JACE may not be the solution for the RPI, wich have little CPU/memory. For the moment, the only thing I found to be working is LinApple with DirectFB (without Window Manager). Unfortunatly, LinApple isn't updated for a while.
