Question Mark was there to open the debate. IE, to my mind, there is

OpenEmulator is being ported to Linux. OE currently provides Apple-1,
II, ][+, and soon /// support. OE does a fantastic job of emulating the
video of various monitors. While Virtual ][ and AppleWin provide a bit
more function, OE *feels* like the real thing. I attribute that to the
video output support.
That all said, I think OE would be the best fit for Raspberry Pi and
what I'd really like to see is if OE could control the on-board RCA
video of the Pi directly bypassing it's video emulation and driving NTSC
or Pal directly. If so, that would be quite possibly the ultimate
Apple-1, II, /// emulator. I do not know how the Pi is wired or if it
is wired for that. And I do not know if it could drive Apple monitors.
But what if it could?
