Chris,
the big issue with the Asantetalk bridge is the autodetect of the
Ethertalk version.
The best I have been able to work out is for a startup sequence is the
Asantebridge needs to be turned on after the Netatalk is fully active
then there is a good chance it will startup with Ethertalk V2. If it
doesn't see an Ethertalk V2 packet then it defaults to Ethertalk V1
and Netatalk won't talk with it.

A second issue that is related to a number of Localtalk bridges is
that an unaccelerated IIgs will fail to receive the RMTP broadcasts
and loss the bridge address and then access to the server is lost.
This usually takes ~ 3 minutes after the IIgs starts.

I am currently trying to fix this second issue.
