What happened to project FaceLift? As I understand it, GS programmers
were trying to disassemble GS/OS and remove the resolution hardcoding,
and reassemble it with the resolution increased (all quickdraw and
font code)... I think there is more information on Trenco ftp.
For displaying regular GS resolution, a VGA card could interface
directly to the processor socket (like the TWGS), and capture reads/
writes to the graphics memory areas, r/w to the vga memory in a way
that the graphics would fill the screen (magnify, smooth, fix colors, etc.)
