I'm afraid you're stuck playing it from the floppy. I have the same problem
as do many people who own CHM2100. Seems to be something in the game
itself. Even with System 5.0.4 it's buggy and sometimes hangs anywhere from
the start screen to a half hour into the game. There is supposed to be a
cracked version somewhere on the net that's patched to eliminate the
problem, but I've tried it and it still hangs now and again. Seems like it

The only way I've been able to get it to run problem-free is in the IIGS
Emulator *Bernie ][ The Rescue* on a Power Macintosh.
