Re: Pot on Language card: what for?
The 74121 is a monostable multivibrator that is most commonly used to
deliver a pulse of a specific duration when the logic inputs are
satisfied. If /A1 or /A2 is low, the output (Q or /Q) will be triggered
on B going high.
The big question is 'what is the pulse used for?' and when is it
triggered?
What are /A1, /A2, and B hooked to? (pins 3, 4 & 5 respectively.)
What are outputs Q & /Q hooked to? (pins 6 for a high pulse & pin 1 for
a low pulse)
Thankx,
Ed
