A SecondSight card costs about ten to twenty times as much as an
Apple II monitor, monochrome, composite color, or RGB!

If the problem is a monitor for an Apple II or IIgs, check thrift stores
first ($5 typically), then check eBay since they can be had for shipping
cost ($15-$25, depending on distance). Because shipping dominates,
they never sell for much, and many are discarded.

Now if anyone knows of an inexpensive external box to convert
a composite input to VGA scan standards, THAT would be interesting.
(Most converters convert VGA to composite--wrong way!)
