well i am pretty darned sure that your lcii should be able to read and write
800k floppys, but they need to be formatted for prodos, i think that if you
format them at mac 800k then they won't work on the gs.

and download diskcopy 6.3.3 smi.  don't worry about the diskcopy scripts,
they should not be necessary.

also i would copy the disk images for system 6.01 to the mac floppy on the
pc then copy them to your hard drive on the lc and once there, then you
would use diskcopy 6.3 to mount the images and create the floppys from the
mounted images like it was suggested to me.

the problem that i am having now is that i make the floppys but my gs keeps
telling me that "cant load prodos" even though i can fully read and copy the
floppy created by the image.
