I wouldn't bother to do that, your Mac can read IBM formatted disks. If it
can't, maybe you have some missing or disabled system files. System 7.5 can
automatically read ProDos and IBM formatted floppies.

Insert an 800K floppy, then initialize it. You should have 3 choices
available: Mac 800K, PC 720K, or ProDos 800K. Choose ProDos 800K. If you
can't, there is something wrong with your system files.

Absolutely yes. If it can't, you have a problem with your OS. You can
download upgrades to 7.5, which has known problems.

You can download it from the Apple archives, or out on the net. Do a search.
There are several versions, I think I used DiskCopy 4.X. If one version
doesn't work, try another.
It does work, I did it with a IIci running System 7.5.2 and DiskCopy 4.X
(4.2?).
