I have an Apple CD 150 which I think uses the same mechanism. Just tried
it out with a ramfast and I don't have any difficulty using it. Only ramfast
driver in that particular machine is the card driver I got off the ROM disk

Try using your mouse to click on it or after highlighting it hit return

An odd thought, occasionally I've come across SCSI devices that don't
seem to function correctly unless theres another device after it on the chain
