Admittedly, it's been a while since I looked at the things. I was set right
about the computing power of modern palmtops by someone IRL after I posted
this. I haven't even seen once since the days of Cassiopeia and Tandy
ZRDSLLKF... whatever it was called.
Still, I like my highly-improbable idea. Even if I don't know what I'm
talking about.
To make matters worse... isn't there some Java implementation for low-power
systems like that? Maybe that could work.
Or we could try talking Transmeta into loading a 65c816 instruction set onto
their Crusoe processors.
