There is a third solution. Simply add a device to the chain that
will supply term power to the entire chain. I have a Zip drive
connected to my SCSI chain and it doesn't supply term power
but my hard drive does so the Zip drive works. The Zip drive
won't work by itself with the Apple HS SCSI card.
So, get an AppleCD 150 or AppleCD 300 CD-ROM drive cheap
or a cheap hard drive of any size that does provide term power,
add that to the chain and voila, your Seagate drive should show
up!
