Re: 5.25 drive issue w/ IIgs & sys 6.01

hi guys and thanks for your assistance and suggestions. 

the issue i was experiencing was cleared up by changing slot 6 to
smart port then telling the finder look for 5.25's. the drives are
slow but are working fine. with that taken care of i'm off to find
some apple terminal s/w so i can get my gs to connect w/ an old 486
laptop via serial port...why? i dunno, i have a bunch of cables (db9
pin serial-->db25-->8 pin apple serial), and i'm confident i can get
it to work.
after that i'm aiming to set up some bastard local talk net w/ a mac.
i know i'm just beggin for many moons of migraines, but i kinda like
the dull throb ya know? it'll be fun, it has no other choice.
i'll be spending more time tinkering now that i have a permanent place
to keep it all set up.  thanks again ya'll.
