I'm having some weird problems too. My year and a half old 500meg card has
slowly been giving me problems. Actually I've had problems all along but
not major ones. I just purchased a new drive and put it in slot 7 of a ROM
3 with Transwarp. It balked and did weird things. Took a long time to load
didn't sound right and the black square at the upper right hand corner wasn't
blinking and moving like it should. Stuck it in slot 2 of an unaccelearted
ROM 1 and it worked fine. Would not work fine in the ROM3. Alltech replaced
it and the new one did the same thing. I switched it to slot 6 and it works
fine there. I had an Apple High Speed SCSI that I put in slot 7 and it works
fine there. The GS system tests good, the Transwarp tests ok, the SCSI card
SCSIs fine. I don't have time to switch cards and try to figure out why it
doesn't work quite right.
Tony said he boots the cards to add Appleworks GS. It works on his unacclerated
machine. So hard to say what might be the problem.
