Nope. People would look and see there was no software to download, and toss
that Apple in the trash. Don't forget, there is a ton of downloadable
software available for other platforms, such as the C64, Classic Macs,
TRS-80's etc. I own and enjoy all of those, in fact. At the moment I'm
playing with an SE/30.

You're kind of like the guy who argued that it's downhill climbing Everest.
He slapped a bubble level on a 4 foot long section of trail, and sure enough
"proved" it was downhill to the summit. So no, you don't really make sense.
