The card says "Transwarp" and "1985" the sticker on the ROM says version "1.3
1984" It has a single bank of 8 256Kx1 chips. The manual denies that the card
uses caching technology (which I had read elsewhere that it had used), but
claims that the Apple ROM is loaded into the RAM, some of the RAM is used by the
card (for what I don't know) and that 64K is used to mirror the motherboard RAM,
another 64K is used to mirror the aux RAM, but that the card accesses memory in
the Aux slot at the full 3.6 mhz (which is nice since I have a 1 meg RAMWorks
III card there) and that the card only slows down when accessing the motherboard
RAM for video, or a slot that the dipswitch says must be accessed at 1 mhz (like
the floppy drive controller card, or the SuperSerial card). The thing is, that
if I could get a memory expansion for my //c+, it would still be faster than my
//e (except my //e has a CMS SCSI card and harddrive card ;-)
