No caching memory involved. The original TransWarp uses uses memory
replacement. I used to use a TransWarp in a IIe with bad RAM and it worked.
One day I got curious and pulled the motherboard RAM and it works fine. you
can also pull the motherboards processor if you want.
The TransWarp was only supposed to accelerate the first 64k of Auxiliary slot
RAM. One of the advertised benefits of the Rocketchip, Zipchip and TransWarp II
was being able to access all of the Auxiliary slot RAM at high speed.
