The 607-0291 is the original Apple SCSI card sometimes referred to as the
Rev C SCSI card though it came as Rev A, B, and C depending upon which
EPROM was on it. Rev A (341-0112A) I believe isn't compatible with the
IIgs. Rev B(341-0112B) doesn't work with GSOS but will work on the IIgs
as long as you only use 8 bit programs. Rev C(341-0437-A) works fine with
the IIgs and GSOS and has some support for the early Apple CD-ROMs
The 820-0153 is the Apple High speed SCSI card. It's much faster than the
Rev C SCSI card Also works well with a variety of removable media devices
such as Zip drives and CD-ROMs. It's the best SCSI card Apple produced.
