You are right, about the English. The Greek however, has neither an "ek" nor an "eis"
it is theopneustos "Godbreathed". Now, let's see if you can reason. When you speak, do
you INhale, or EXhale while pronouncing a word? In Indo-European languages, words are
formed by the passage of air OUT of a persons lungs, through their throat, and the
sound is made by position of the tongue, teeth and lips. The text then, does not say
that God INspired the writer, but that God Expired the Scripture. ("Scripture" by the
way, is the translation of the word "graphe" which means writing, and from which we
get words like "graphics")
So then, I did not err.
Now, as I mentioned to Paul, if you wish to debate this further, do so with email or
posting to another newsgroup. A debate about piracy is appropriate in the apple II
newsgroup, but I don't think that biblical exegesis is.
