If you have a telecom program (like ProTerm, Modem MGR, etc.) which you
can run from your current hard disk setup, you can transfer the System 6.0.1
disks from PC to your GS hard disk via a NULL modem connection. (The disks are
available in ShrinkIt form on sites like Tarnover and TikTok.) Once
transferred, the ShrinkIt files could be unshrinked to an 800k RAM5/ RAM disk
and the files on each saved on hard disk. Then, you could move the System 6.0.1
files to the appropriate folders.

So, it's doable without having any floppy drives; but, as Paul indicated,
a fair bit of bother. In any case, to have access to lots of Apple II software
you will need at least one 5.25" and one 3.5" drive. You might as well get the
drives now.
