Well, according the system logs, the Apple II logs into netatalk perfectly,
it's just that the logon program aborts with some crazy error (An unknown
system error has occured is the message).

The same error is issued when trying to log into a Mac (I'm connected to
the linux box via a Mac running Localtalk bridge). I just assumed it must
be the IIe at fault, and most likely the software.

I haven't tried the GS. I know the Workstation card works, since it'll net
boot the //e just fine from the same Mac if I reboot into System 6 with
AppleShare Fileserver turned on.
