Sorry to hear about your frying experience! I use APC products
exclusively for power preotection. They cost more but are the 'real
McCoy'. I just sold my 3KvA UPS but I kept a Pro8 TV for my Apple. No
battery power but it _will_ eat any spikes or surges for breakfast!
I'm trying to source those parts and having some difficulty. I tried
Active Electronics in Vancouver (was reccommended there) but they were
of no use.
Can you think of who is the largest outfit in Canada? I've got my
shopping list together but I suspect people are going to come back to
me with more n/a's like Action did.

Now I know all things aren't equal, but at least coming up with a
rough cache memory speed limitation scenario helps to look into other
