Re: Presence of a IIc memory card
Thanks for the responses!
I've been using my IIc since 1986 but am not very technically proficient
with these sorts of things. So perhaps you could answer a couple
questions for me:
If I do find a card, is it treated as an extension of the native 128K or
is it treated as a RAM drive?
I use BeagleWrite for a word processor and it's limited to about 12
pages per file due to memory constraints. I'd like the ability to write
more than 12 pages per file, but if the memory extension is treated as a
RAM drive, would it enable me to do this?
I checked the manual but it wasn't very clear about this.
I know it would be easier to switch to a IIgs, but I'm comfortable
writing on my IIc. And I wouldn't trust a PC for this purpose.
Thanks!
