Hi all,
I was doing some calculations last week on how much it would take to
get a "good" IIGS system together and perhaps hooking it up to my DSL
line.
I came up with the total about $700 (since I don't have a IIGS) for:
The IIGS System plus other accessiores (say off of Ebay which had a nice
system for big, but I decided against it since I didn't have time to mess
with it right now)
The LanceGS card $155
RAM - about $200 I believe for 8 megs (the system on Ebay had 2 Megs or
something)
Hard Drive - another $150
software - Spectrum, etc.
I was wondering if anyone would venture what a "good" GS system would
be and what a reasonable price including the software/hardware would
be. I presume 8 megs is a given and probably an accelerator (I did
not factor that in my original equation).
If I have time, i might think about trying to get it together. :)
