If can connect your IIgs to DSL, it would be wonderful to hear about! Just
be careful who you tell (outside csa2), 'cause they react kinda funny. I had
one person telling me not to use DSL on my Macintosh IIci, and to swap out the
motherboard for a Pentium because it was really cheap! Now the IIci is very
proprietary, and the *only* "Pentium Compatible" part was the power cable.
A few weeks later I was back to my IIgs and a 14.4kbps modem, because that
*is* cheap and a great deal faster! Gotta love shell accounts. ;-)
(Much cheaper. As it turns out, both Cable and DSL would have (and suceeded)
forced me to upgrade my system since that time -- to use their service, of
course.)
Byron.
