The Unifile and Duofile were twiggy drives for the Apple 2 and Apple 3
that were never released.

Ah! That is certainly a better explanation... Having never seen twiggy
drives I didn't stop to consider that.

I saw a picture of the Lisa just this week and though "oh yes, the Lisa".
It seems to have faded more than the Apple III over the years in terms of visibility, an expensive computer that wasn't sold for very long.

It must have been the current issue of "Wired", there's something about the Steve Jobs "school of business" and there's a page of Apple products, which is quite compreensive. Just their photos with the model number underneath, but at a glance it seemed complete, certainly up to more recent times. Usually, these things just show the high points, leaving out things like the Newton.
