Wife's Special Ed High School classes
My wife has a BS in chemistry. She teachs special Ed. math/science. The
school District just gave her 2 apple II's with printers, disk drives
etc.
All though in high school, many special Ed. students need elementary math
skills taught to them.
I am trying to help her by making these old Apples work. The apple IIgs
is now part way up. It has a Mac like screen when booted up. The Apple
II mouse, (a big box like thing that plugs into the back) does not seem
to work. I did figure out from the manual how to move the mouse arrow
via the numeric key pad. Monday I am going to try and plug in a mouse to
the keyboard using the Mac type plug in on the keyboard, (not the new USB
type.) Maybe that mouse will respond. I had to brorrow it from the
computer technology co-ordinator for the school District.
Since I do not have an Apple II at home, I need to find a way to emulate
the software on a Mac if possible.
