copying problem

OK, here's a problem I have (which I fear may be insoluble).

I have a copy of Marble Madness on 5-1/4" floppy which I would like on a
3-1/2" disk.  The game is copy protected, but I can copy it onto another
5-1/4 with Locksmith.

However, I would like to make a backup copy of the game on 3-1/2" floppy.  I
know it can't be done directly, but is there a way to recreate the files so
it will run from a 3.5.

I read a nice overview by Rubywand that mentioned using parms (from
Computist) to do this, but I don't believe these are easily available, or if
there is even one for MM.

Any insights or experiences would be appreciated.
