IIGS io card/drive port info

I am trying to figure out the best way to set up io cards on the gs and
drives on the rear floppy port.

I have found s7 works with the old DiskII controller, which boots.
However I am having trouble with 3.5" drives. I tried the Vtech
unicontroller in 5 - 7 with no luck. In the floppy port I tried a single
800k Mac floppy (that I used on my IIe), the GS doesn't like the drive
to much. Is there somewhere I can find this info (didn't see much on
cards on the gs in the faq).

And just for the sake of it. Do the //e serial, parallel, etc cards work
in the gs?
